“Memorable Quotes From BlogHer 2017” by Thea Wood, TheaWood.com
I made a last-minute decision to pack my bags and fly to Orlando last week for BlogHer 2017. It was one of the best choices I’ve made as a blogger, fashion-lover, and SheSpark editor. Over 2,200 women gathered for a variety of informative panels and engaging keynote speakers who attracted standing-room-only crowds.
While I wasn’t able to attend Saturday’s events, I did my best to write down quotes from Thursday and Friday sessions that struck a chord. SheSpark isn’t a political or business pub; but we definitely root for “sisters who are doin’ it for themselves” (thank you Annie Lennox), especially those who represent the over-40 crowd. The diversity of women at BlogHer 2017 was awe inspiring. Black, white, asian, hispanic, old, young, even babies! You name it, she represented.
Disclaimers: Yours Truly is not a professional photographer (many of these are shots of the stage screens) and I can only write/type so fast, so my sincere apologies if a quote is missing a word(s) or grammar/tenses are wrong. If you have a transcripts and can provide a more accurate version, please leave it in the comments. If you attended BlogHer 2017 and have additional quotes that you really loved, please post them with attributions in the comments!
