3 Mindset Apps All Women Need To Change Their World and Economic Potential!

Ok, it’s true, apps are taking over!  I’m an advocate for keeping things simple and easy – a concept all women want and most struggle to have.  With that in mind, I’m sharing with you three of my favorite apps that will seriously change your world and even super charge your economic potential.

One of the biggest reasons women struggle with economic potential and mental wellbeing is because there is so many diversions, distractions, and disconnections.  This app is one I share with my private Wealthy Woman Warrior™ clients so that they can increase productivity in their day and feel more accomplished.  What using this app ultimately does is it creates momentum and motivation, two aspects that can transform your economic potential!

How it works:

StayFocusd increases your productivity by limiting the amount of time that you can spend on time-wasting websites.

You sit down at the computer, and you swear you’ll be productive. Next thing you know, it’s twelve hours later. You’ve checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes’ Facebook photos, and lost a week’s pay playing online poker.

What you haven’t done is WORK.  For women, we have so much on the go, that removing distractions and diversions is actually imperative for your mental wellbeing!

StayFocusd is a productivity extension for Google Chrome that helps you stay focused on work by restricting the amount of time you can spend on time-wasting websites. Once your allotted time has been used up, the sites you have blocked will be inaccessible for the rest of the day.

It’s highly configurable, allowing you to block or allow entire sites, specific subdomains, specific paths, specific pages, even specific in-page content (videos, games, images, forms, etc).

My next favorite app is one for sleep.  Sleep is absolutely imperative for mental wellbeing and economic potential.  Women believe that they can burn the candle at both ends and still come out on top – the reality – it’s simply untrue.  What I’ve noticed with a lot of my clients is that there are 3 types of non-sleepers.  The first group say they get to bed ontime but then their mind kicks in of all the things on their ‘to do’ lists or the conflicts they’re currently dealing with rev up. The second group of women non-sleepers often vocalize is they have no idea why they can’t sleep, they’re tired but once lying down they just can’t drift off even though they have no thoughts going through their mind.  The last group of non-sleeping women are those who have children that are keeping them up.  They would sleep if their children would sleep.

#2 Sleep Brainwave – Naturally Guide You Relax and Fall into Sleep

How it works:

This app focuses on what are called Isochronic Tones which cause the brain to synchronize with the rhythm of the tones.  Tone recordings when it come to sleep seem to be more effective than ‘old-fashioned’ binaural beats when it comes to meditation and visualization because the brain entrains more easily to very distinct, pulses of sound.  You do not have to have headphones on when listening to these which is also way more convenient and makes it accessible for everyone in the family.

For women, I’m an advocate for mindset reconditioning even when it comes to sleep habits.  What’s lovely about this app is that it targets your ability to fall asleep specifically, which allows women to stay away from potentially habit forming pills, that overtime directly affect melatonin production (your sleep inducing hormone). Such a win!  In turn, getting better sleep stabilizes your hormones, mood, productivity and your capacity to reach the stars!

#3. Gratitude Journal – The Life-changing App, by PPL Development Company LLC.

I’m a huge believer in gratitude and the power gratitude plays in our day to day life.  Of interest, what you track you attract.  I often have been an advocate for women to track their productivity, their money, their wins and I absolutely advocate for women to track the things they have to be grateful for!  Who doesn’t need more things to be grateful for in their lives – right?

How it works:

Each day you add one entry with multiple bullets.  It allows you to focus solely on today and allows you the ability to see all your entries easily, enhancing your experience with gratitude itself.  What I also love is it’s customizable so you can change the font and background to what suits you and it synchronizes with iCloud.  It means you can access the gratitude journal anywhere and you can also capture moments and savor the memories later on your iPad or laptop.  The best is that it is simple and uncluttered.  You focus on gratitude and that’s it!
